Family protests outside Deepvihar HSS, demands justice for student

Family members of the student who drowned at Tondir-Kajreghat waterfall staged a protest outside Deepvihar Higher Secondary School, Vasco, demanding justice and alleging negligence. Sources said the family is likely to pursue legal action against the school. Police were present at the spot to prevent any untoward incidents.

Mormugao DySP Gurudas Kadam assured the family that an FIR has already been registered against the school for alleged negligence. The school manager described the incident as unfortunate and said the school would conduct an investigation into the matter.
