Dona Paula man allegedly duped of Rs 22,800 in overseas shipment scam

The Ponda-based mover failed to deliver a shipment from Goa to Portugal

A Dona Paula resident allegedly lost Rs 22,800 after engaging a Ponda-based packing and moving company to ship two paintings from Goa to Portugal.

Despite receiving the shipment charges, the company allegedly failed to track and deliver the consignment to the intended recipient. Ponda Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
