PWD Minister Digambar Kamat, along with Margao officials and health authorities, inspected the Margao Police Station following the detection of dengue cases in the area. Kamat directed the Margao Municipality to clean the surroundings and remove stagnant water and other potential mosquito-breeding areas.
He also instructed health officials to carry out fogging around the police station as a preventive measure. The inspection comes amid concerns over the rising number of dengue cases in South Goa.
