DGP assures strict action in Maina alcohol incident

DGP Alok Kumar said strict action will be taken against any police officer found involved in misconduct or indiscipline. Departmental action will be initiated to ensure such incidents are not repeated. Referring to the incident at Maina, Curtorim, he said an inquiry is underway and action will be taken against those found responsible. He added that supervising officers have been directed to maintain close supervision and that indiscipline within the police force will not be accepted.
