DGCA instructs airlines to avoid 9 Middle East air spaces

The advisory is valid till 28 March amid rising tensions in the region

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has instructed Indian airlines to avoid flying over Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Qatar and the UAE amid rising tensions in the region.


Flights over Oman and Saudi Arabia may continue above 32,000 feet, following strict safety measures. The advisory is effective immediately and will remain valid until 28 March.
