Contaminated borewell water triggers diarrhoea, typhoid cases in Dabolim

Dabolim residents face a health crisis as typhoid and diarrhoea outbreak is traced to contaminated borewell water

Residents of Prabhu Violetta Society, in Dabolim, are facing a worsening health crisis. Following cases of diarrhoea, typhoid has now been reported, allegedly due to contaminated borewell water.

The WRD has sealed the borewell, which was meant solely for construction purposes, but ended up being illegally used to supply drinking water to residents.
