The Congress party has strongly condemned BJP Vice President Narendra Savaikar's alleged "termites" remark against the youth. Congress leader Sunil Kauthankar challenged BJP Goa President Damu Naik and Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant to a public debate on governance, law and order, and the future of students, saying, "Let Goans decide who the real termites are."
He also demanded that Savaikar apologise to students within 24 hours, warning that Congress will launch a protest if no apology is issued.
