CM Sawant honours Goan weavers on National Handloom Day

CM Dr Pramod Sawant also highlighted efforts to promote traditional 'Kunbi' weaving

On the occasion of National Handloom Day, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant paid tribute to Goa's weavers for preserving the state's rich textile heritage. He highlighted the government's efforts to empower women through weaving training centres and reaffirmed its commitment to promoting the traditional Kunbi weave under the 'Vocal for Local' and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives.
