Chrism mass to be celebrated at Old Goa on 26 March

The mass at Se Cathedral, Old Goa, will include the blessing of the holy oils

The anticipated chrism mass will be celebrated on Thursday, 26 March 2026, at 10 am at the Se Cathedral, Old Goa. The Diocesan Bishop will celebrate the mass with his presbyterium, during which the holy oils will be blessed.

All offices under the Patriarchal Curia will remain closed on Thursday on account of the mass.
