Chirag Naik hits out at false claims, raises safety concerns

Chirag Naik has extended his hunger strike over the Margao garden project

Chirag Naik has extended his hunger strike, alleging that the Margao garden project is being pushed forward through misleading means. He claimed that while the chairperson described it as ‘renovation’, official documents show demolition and construction of a two-storey GSIDC building worth Rs 3.96 crore.

Calling the presentation misleading, he also raised safety concerns about the site and said his protest aims to bring out the truth. Goa Pradesh Youth Congress president Adv Archit Shantaram Naik has extended support to his agitation.
