Chicalim villagers demand removal of illegal permanent vendors

Residents of Chicalim have demanded the removal of illegal permanent vendors operating in the residential area. They said the designated spaces were meant only for movable handcarts, but several vendors have allegedly erected permanent structures, causing inconvenience to local residents. 

Villagers also raised concerns over the increasing nuisance in the area, alleging incidents of eve teasing, illegal parking of taxis on public roads, open urination, garbage accumulation, and poor sanitation, which has raised serious safety and hygiene concerns for residents.
