Indian markets opened lower on Monday, weighed down by muted global cues and fresh concerns around international trade tensions, with both the Sensex and Nifty 50 starting in the red.

India’s per capita income is expected to reach $4,000 by 2030, allowing it to move into the upper middle-income category with China and Indonesia, an SBI Research report said on Monday.

Billionaire wealth grew at triple its recent pace last year, reaching a record high and intensifying economic and political inequalities that risk undermining democratic stability, anti-poverty group Oxfam said on Monday.
