Buried garbage found at Kadamba Plateau

Parents of students from a nearby school are demanding urgent action, citing serious health risks

During a joint inspection at Kadamba Plateau, concerns were raised over illegal waste dumping and its environmental impact. At a second site, a foul smell and mud spread across the area raised suspicions.

After the top layer of mud was removed, garbage was found underneath. Residents and parents from the nearby Sharada Mandir School said the smell is affecting children's health and have demanded action. Citizens also raised concerns over unsegregated waste and the lack of proper permissions and testing by the authorities.
