Bijapur man dies after being washed away by waves at Baga beach

The man was seated on a rocky stretch of Baga Beach amid rough sea conditions

Baga Beach claimed the life of 34-year-old Ashpak Masali from Bijapur after strong waves pulled him into the sea while he was near the rocky stretch of the beach. Rescue efforts later led to the recovery of his body from the shoreline. Footage now circulating online allegedly captures the moments before the incident, showing him close to the rocks despite rough sea conditions.
