Bicholim milk producers seek NDDB support for dairy societies

Milk producers from Bicholim have urged the state government to bring Goa's milk producers' societies under the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) for the next five years to improve their efficiency and strengthen the dairy sector. 

The farmers also thanked the state government for increasing the subsidy on cow and buffalo milk and enhancing the benefits under the Kamdhenu Scheme.
