Bajrang Dal opposes removal of Shivaji Maharaj statue

Bajrang Dal Goa has opposed the removal of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj statue at Vasco.

Convenor Viraj Dessai urged authorities to retain the statue at the same location and preserve it as a heritage site.

He also called for celebrating Shiv Jayanti there every year. He said the statue would not be removed, as Shiv premis would strongly oppose any such move.
