Backward Classes Commission seeks 2-month extension to submit empirical data

The Goa State Commission for Backward Classes has sought a two-month extension from the Bombay High Court at Goa to submit empirical data on the Backward Classes population for the municipal elections matter. The Commission was earlier directed to submit the data to the State Election Commission by September 16. The plea will be heard by the High Court on September 23.
