Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao questioned Health Minister Vishwajit Rane over the reported rat-bite incident at Goa Medical College, asking whether this is what the government calls ‘world-class’ healthcare.
Alemao said the incident raises serious concerns over basic safety measures for patients and questioned the lack of adequate protection for people at the state's premier medical institution.
