Mandrem MLA Jit Arolkar raised the issue of demolition notices served to boat sheds and small huts used by fishermen along the coastline. He said these facilities are crucial for storing fishing gear, nets, diesel, and ice boxes, and also serve as resting shelters during fishing trips.
Arolkar appealed to the government to intervene and address the concerns and hardships faced by the fishing community.
