Another service extension raises questions over youth employment in Goa

The government has granted Joint Director of Accounts Gajanan M Naik a one-year service extension, prompting questions over repeated extensions

The Goa Government has granted a one-year service extension to Gajanan M Naik, Joint Director of the Directorate of Accounts, from October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2027.

Reacting to the order, former Goa Government Employees Association president John Nazareth questioned the repeated service extensions, saying, "It looks like there are no unemployed youth in Goa."
