Authorities plan to roll out AI-powered traffic signals and smart cameras at more locations across the state

AI-powered traffic signals and smart cameras have been activated at Merces Circle as part of Goa’s initiative to improve traffic management and enforcement. The government has made 26 locations operational and plans to expand the system to 92 locations across the state. While some citizens have raised objections, authorities have urged motorists to follow traffic rules and avoid penalties under the new AI-based monitoring system.
