Clen Madeira, Commissioner of the Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) and an avid wildlife photography enthusiast, has once again showcased Goa’s natural beauty with this stunning photograph of a pair of flamingos.
Flamingos are migratory, algae-feeding birds that travel in search of food and shelter. Their migration routes and numbers vary each season, with many passing through the Western Ghats and Goa. While they are being spotted in Goa now, they have also been recorded visiting the state’s wetlands in smaller numbers in previous years.
