Around seven villas at Highlands, Alto Porvorim, were broken into after thieves allegedly entered the gated complex by breaching the fence and breaking windows and door locks. Some of the targeted villas were unoccupied. The complex has six night security guards and mandatory vehicle entry records. Goa police and the local MLA visited the site as the investigation continues.
